Library staff sends a warm welcome to new students and welcome back to returning students. We look forward to seeing you in the library. While you are in the library, please remember:

Masks must be worn at all times in Library space
-Practice social distancing with other library users and library staff
-Hand sanitizer dispensers are located near the elevators and the entrance of the Reading Room
-Seating capacity is limited to ensure social distancing, please abide by posted signs
-Do not move tables or chairs-Do not leave belongings to hold your space for a long time when you are not in the Library
Contactless book borrowing & returning is available
-Request books via Grab-N-Go service
-Return books at book depository located to the left of the Library entrance (available 24/7)

Housekeeping staff is cleaning & sanitizing surfaces (table tops, chairs, doors, door handles, etc.) every day.

Borrow Library Books Now with Our New Grab-n-Go Service!

Need books from the D. Samuel Gottesman Library’s collection? You can borrow them now by using our new Grab-N-Go service. Just follow these simple steps:
·        Fill out this book request form:
·        Schedule a pick-up time (Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm).
·        Wait for a confirmation email from Circulation Desk staff.
·        When you arrive at the library to pick up your book, call 718.430.3699, tap (gently) on the glass door, or call 3699 from the house phone in the Beren Study Center.
